I was wondering if any of the firefly/gun fans, out there could tell me what make, model, etc. of revolver Saffron has at the start of the firefly episode "Trash"

Here are some lightened up screen caps, so you know which gun I'm talking about.

So, please post any info, and/or pics you have of the real world gun.

You might want to look at the EMF 1873 revolvers.

EMF make many SAA style revolvers and I know that many of their weapons are used in movies.

"Generically" speaking, it's a Colt 1873 Single Action Army with 5 1/2" barrel and the older style "bull’s-eye" ejector rod button/lever. I'm also guessing that it's nickle plated (or stainless steel).

Thank you for the info. I did a little looking, and picked this up off of amazon a couple months ago. (sorry it took so long for me to post about it.)

It's a denix (sorry if that's miss spelled, I'm always switching the I and E.) Anyway's here is mine compared to the screen cap. (the angle in my pic, isn't quite the same, but you get the idea.)

The handle on mine feels small, but I have big hands, and I think it would be fine for a "devil-woman". :lol

You may note, btw, that this ISN'T 'Bridgets' pistol. She begins the scene unarmed.
When she recognizes Mal, she quickly spins and pulls it from the belt of one of Monty's passing crew members.

Just sayin'.

I never really saw were it came from. I just always saw her reach around herself, and assumed she had it counseled. Thanks for the info.

I guess I now have a replica of some random extras gun. :lol Hey it was hers, for the like minute she held it. And it was the gun that won the west, so that should count for something. (ok, I'm reaching, but I spent way too much, on way to miner of a prop, for no good reason, so I have to justify it some how. :lol )
