My friend Karl and I have been working on a compact/snub version of Ol' Tightpants favourite pistol which we are calling the Model 47S since he did the Model 47, and he and I did the Model 47A (both all metal with wood grips). After batting around ideas amongst ourselves and getting some community feedback/ideas over at Fireflyprops it's taking a physical form by way of Karl's talented hands and my planning. I can't wait to start assembling and patinaing them!
It's a break action type design where a magazine would be loaded into the back of the forward section, designed to have the feel of the 47 and 47A without being simply a chopped version. It maintains many design elements and cues but most have been slightly altered to meet make for a compact, aggressive looking pistol.
Here is the prototype in progress.
And a quick and dirty Photoshop job of how the break action could turn out (it's partly still in planning).

All resin $125 range
As mentioned it's still a work in progress and we're hoping to gauge interest before going further with it because it's been a lot of work and if there isn't sufficient interest then we can't afford to keep going.
