Fire Emblem:Awakening Robin Cosplay Ideas?

I'm sort of new to cosplay and well, I've decided to try my hand at making a cosplay of the Male Avatar (Robin) from Fire Emblem. I already have a white wig from a previous cosplay for the hair, so I think i'm good in that department. I just need to work on the rest.

I was thinking of starting out with the Levin Sword he is usually associated with. I might make it out of wood and wrap the grip with some fabric after painting it. The Tomes for magic Robin and the other mages use i think i can make if I just use some harder type of paper and print out a design of one of the tomes on it and put it around a hardback book.
So for the rest of the body I would love some suggestions.

BTW: Here are some pics for the weapons and character im trying to make

Sorry you got no replies. I hope my reply can still be of some help, at least.

Since Robin wears that very specific robe, your best bet would be to either buy it (I've seen it offered before, and some are of pretty decent quality) or if you know a very skilled tailor or seamstress, try that. That would probably be a lot more.

Male and female Robin pretty much wear the same thing, and the undergarments don't look too complicated, you could probably modify something into them, or buy a full costume set (which I think offers everything).

Be sure and post it sometime if you ever get it done! I would like to see it! (If it's not too late)
