Finished Yoda statue "Empire Strikes Back"

Hello guys

First of all, I want to thank Philip (Cyberman) for making this possible.
You made a fantastic job sculpting this wonderful version of Yoda from ESB.:eek I had a blast painting this great kit. And will do another
soon again.:lol This is without a doubt the most accurate Yoda there is from every angle. Sometimes I felt like I was working on the original puppet for the film, and that the year was 1979:wacko

Anyway, I had alot of fun building this kit, and to make it as a finished statue. And the best part from it was that my girlfriend found a very accurate fabric for the robe. You see, I was at the SW Exhibition with GINO last year in Ohio. And we had a great time there. And I photographed the Yoda puppet from many angles.
And when me and my girlfriend Annica came home to Sweden again, we sat down in our couch relaxing after a long trip, suddenly Annicas sais
-Hey isn´t this the same fabric like on the one....whats his name again????? pointing her finger at the pillows in the couch.
- I said Yeah, it looks like it:eek, I knew the one she was thinking of.

Well anyway, I think it´s the same kind of fabric, but it´s a bit thick, but I guess they really used an weathered streched version.

Enough said, I had alot of fun painting it now over to the pictures

Enjoy

Wow!!!

That looks great. You have done very well with the robes, and the paint job. What did you use for the fuzz/hair?

That's Excellent! (y)thumbsup

Also- Using an '80 YEAR OLD Santa Claus doll's hair was a nice topper.:eek

Hope you did'nt destroy the doll too much in trimming the hair .

Cause, as doll's go; I understand that something that old 'could be' worth guite some cash.
But what do I know.

Best:ES

That really is an excellent job.

I think that is one of the finest Yoda workups I've seen to date.

Lovely paintjob matey. What a great adaption of my celebration of Stuart Freeborns master piece. :thumbsup
