Finished Revell Cylon Raider

hey guys just finished this one up to go along with the viper I recently did. This will hang in the local hobby shop aswell. I left off the the pentagons on the sides because after applying them and clear coating them, the tape still pulled them up. Where all the black markings are painted I couldn't justify paying 15 bucks for replacement decals when I'd only be using 2 of them haha. In any case, I'm happy with how she turned out. I'd appreciate any constructive critisism you guys can shell out :lol

Looks good. I just finished one as well. Mine is a little darker than yours. What was your basecoat?

the base color was an offwhite, I masked various pannels and hit them with tamiya smoke, then I went over the whole thing and dusted it with wal mart primer spray

Yeah, that really is beautifull work there. I have one of those on the shelves just waiting for some TLC. I do hope that I can get it somewhere near your work.

I do have to agree, that is a great paint job. It's better than some I've seen on some SS kits!

That is a beautiful piece of work. the only thing I would like to see is the blast burn marks trailing behind and tapering off to give the look of being hit while at speed.

Bare in mind I personally could not do it, but as I can see you have this skills too I thought I would at least add the comment.

If you look closely you can see that they do actually trail off, after the clear coat it kinda toned them down, after these pics I touched them up a little before dropping it off at my LHS.
