Finished Ghostbusters Belt Circuit Scratchbuild

Just finished up a scratchbuilt belt circuit for my Ghostbusters costume:

For those that don't know these were originally circuit boards out of a 70's calculator that are now impossible to find. They're in a "holster" on a GB's belt to tech it up a bit in the movie. More pics and a build log are on my website here: http://www.angelfire.com/pa5/jdoud/gbbeltcirc.html

Still have to make the holster and daughter board but I'm glad to have the main part done.

Yeah, I paid about $50 for my SANYO calculator, pretty expensive...

But there is a nice resin replica out...

Very nice! This is definitely one of the main things I need to update on my uniform right after I put the pack back together with all the sound and lights wired up.

The funny thing is -- I'm pretty sure I still have the accurate calculator laying around here somewhere which used to be my Mom's when I was a kid. It still worked last time I remember seeing it, but that was before I realized it was the one used for the belt gizmo.
