A friend pointed out to me that the creators of Witch Hunter Robin have made a new show called "Ergo Proxy". i checked it out and am hooked, great story, great visuals and ofcoarse.....cool weapons.
So, i decided that i need to make some of the props and start with the first gun which i have named:"Proxy Killer"
I am almost finished with the barrel and for the rest of the gun, a great friend has offered me to mill the parts out of resin, which will make it look supercool and will save me mucho time. There are 2 other guns, a shotgun and a weird gun. The shotgun is pretty standard, but the second gun is very cool as well and i will be working on that one once the "Proxy Killer" has been completed.
The gun appears to be very different in size in every single screenshot and the details differ as well. So, i did what i always do when building anime stuff: Take the best of everything. I was also surprise to see that the actual gun is quite a big one. Because of the shape it looks small in the screencaps, but when i scaled it to fit in my hand it turned out to be pretty big due to the massive grip on this thing.
below are some screenshots of the gun i am working on, the barrel and a screenshot of my 3d models of the parts i did in Rhino.
Anybody else following the series?If not, and you are a fan of anime and witch hunter robin, you have to check out the series.
