Hello guys, my cannon is made of craft foam, plastidip, paints, etc.
Now as I was cleaning a room in my house I came across this fake security camera I bought a few years back for a short film I made. Anyway, the base looked great to attach the cannon too. Then I realized the camera actually moves in motion on it's own when turned on. ( I got excited...) The only problem was that the batteries sit at the highest point atop the camera which would look clunky. Otherwise this would be perfect, the swaying is slow and calculated. I think if you build your cannon around the meaty part of the camera block this could work as a scanning cannon. I wasn't about to redo it though so I ripped off the camera and attached the cannon to the base, adding a few bits of detail foam. Note, the cannon can be aimed up or down on the base which is cool nevertheless. The dummy camera I recall was $8 so cheap enough.
