Currently, I'm working and altering the plans.

    To answer your questions;

    - I'll ship anywhere.
    - They will be made available when they are finished.... not before.
    - Please don't ask about the price, because I have no clue at the moment.

This dish(s) will have multiple parts on the back and will fit onto the existing frame that comes with the Fine Molds 1/144 and 1/72 kits.

as an aside, Acreation was supposed to be making a new radar dish as well as a resin cockpit insert, but I haven't heard any updates on that for a while. I'm guessing the idea was scrapped

Hmmm, is this larger dish something I should be getting for my Falcon?

The FM dish is noticeably too small--at least for a lot of people. So if you care about that, then yes, you should get this.

For molds do you use RTV silicon compound?

I know this might sound like I'm being a smart *, and I swear it's just an honest question. Is there an alternative to RTV? Or is RTV silicon different from RTV rubber? Or is what I've been calling RTV rubber really silicon? Or is it silicone? Now I'm confusing myself.

As far as I know it's one in the same. In a material name.... Smooth On Mold Max 30 (aka Rubber)

Scratchy, nice work as usual, I would like to add this to my build. I have access to an ertl/mpc dish, but I have a feeling your work is going to be way better than what I could pull off. Can you hurry please? I may get to that part of my build sometime in the next 12-14 months!

    Thank you CrackerJazz

    Thank you Fett Ish

One thing that I've learned when making models,.... if one hurries, the build gets sloppy..... real fast.

I'm going to take my time on this, ensuring a top notch dish(s).

Been waiting for this! Everything looks good so far, I've been waiting the longest time to get one dish replaced on my 1/72 and this seemed like something that was just dropped by acreation.

Wow, those details are tiny! Do not build too fine details, it´s better than FM´s work and it will stand out too much! :lol
    Really awesome.

Is the dark green piece the part that was used for the filming model? Also, can we see a shot with the FM kits in the picture so we can see the comparison in size?
    Thanks,

I just have a couple more resin details to cast, then I'll post a pic of the 72 dish (white) glued to the Falcon and post some pics over the weekend.

The dish still needs two more detail pieces, some cleaning, a good sanding, and another coat of prime before I pour rubber over it.

I'll start adding the details to the 144 dish. It won't take as long,.... I had all the details on one mould.

Thanks DD. I'll be making a mould of the entire dish plus the two detail parts for the back, and cast them as needed.

Thank you Capt. Solo (BP) you're too kind.

Just giving back to the community. Everyone here has been generous, helpful and kind to me.

Here's a size comparison with the stock dish and the 144 that I'm also working on. You'll also see the other detail parts for the back side in the image.
