I have been wanting a Brad Nelson TOS Phaser for years now, actually for going on 10 years now. I have seen them on eBay occasionally, but never was able to quite get it. So after lots of searching, I found a replica of it and am very pleased with it. All the parts on it were custom machined, and it has a real vintage RF Meter on the P1.

A BIG thanks goes out to Dstines and Phase Pistol! Thanks for all your help guys!

That is the trigger design that Brad came up with for Star Trek Phase 2. I actually like it, even though it is different than the real TOS one.

Nice phaser.

I've seen 2 side by side & they were a bit different from each other: removable P1 & non-removable P1.

From the photos it looks to be in excellent condition;
or did you have to repaint it?

And how about a .mov of the lights & sound? Please?

Congrats. For the longest time, an MG-34 was my holy grail and I finally scored one, too. Not that long ago. Its a great feeling to get something that you've wanted for years and years. Enjoy!

OUTSTANDING!! To score something so near and dear to you...congrats!! How does this design and accuracy compare to the MR version?

Glad to see it in your collection!

I talked with Bill Hickey over the summer and he said Brad is flattered that his Phasers are still oogled over.

Wow. I've got a kit of that that looks.... just about identical. The nozzle wasn't gnurled...

Was the original cast aluminum? Mine is. I got it at a con in maybe 1986. The prop manufacturer went by "Jim Kirk" or "Captain James T. Kirk" or something. Had a list of other things he made. Wanted 'em all. Never got em, tho.

The originals were not cast aluminum.

Jim Kirk re-cast Brads Phaser

Here is the one made by Jim Kirk and sold at cons and through his companies like Starfleet Fabrications where this one came from. I have 3 different versions of this pistol, 2 static and one hero.

Thanks everyone! And thanks for the compliment on the pics, I take a lot of pride in taking photos of my props. It is all in the setup. I use a 2 megapixel camera and flourescant lighting in the shop, nothing special (just found the best settings for my camera for my lighting).

Outstanding!! I am very lucky to have 2 originals. I am trying to get a D Stines kit and Nicksdad parts to make one like yours. If you have any info how I would obtain these kits, I'd appreciate it. Its almost impossible to get a reply from D Stines. Nicksdad has them but I have not heard back from him. I did find the power meter though. Thanks
