more or less purely by chance ..... but i got it.
I was bored and searched Ebay randomly, just for fun, looking here and looking there - i never before looked for any E-11. Well, i found it by accident, made my bid, and won the auction.
It´s not completly accurate, but in a pretty good shape - some things i will fix, some not.
And here are the pics:
The t-tracks are made from alu - sure, not accurate - but HELL: I love the way it looks and feels, much better than grabbing some plastic. Maybe wrong, but this detail will definatly NOT be replaced by more accurate ones. :love
Not welded in place, still able to be retracted:
We all know how it unfolds, but nonetheless some pics:
The shortened magazine, still funktional for loading a few rounds
Put in it´s place:
The cylinders/their mount is not perfect, but i think i will not take any risk to damage anything with breaking them off - maybe a slight overwork will be done.
The fake scope, not the badest job was done on it:
The Hengstler is a resin cast, too. But i can live with it for some time, until i will find a real one:
For sure i would have loved to make my own E-11 from a Sterling, but it´s to hard to find any real one here in Germany these days to let this go, and it´s already my prefered version. All in all im pretty satisfied with it.
