did you replace the domes that REL included in the kit? If so, with what?

Mine were clear cast and rough as all get out. Yours are nice and glossy smooth

Yup - I installed Plastruct domes - They are very slightly smaller than I would have liked, Next size up was Waaaay too big. I don't think they look obviously out of place. I always thought that the domes were very glossy on the outside since the in effects shots the domes dissapeared - I guess due to bluescreen spill off the glossy domes. I also replaced all the round window frames with doll size rivets and drilled all the windows out. I had too much trouble getting the vinyl masks to stay in place.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm fairly pleased with how she turned out - Especially the mounting.

Now she's hooked into the same remote control that turns the big E on.

The bird is actually broken into 6 decals. I wound up with some silvering so I might ask REL for a new set & redo them. Thanks for the kind words!

Im no Trek fan TBH :redface, but that one of my favorite pieces by Rich, its so simplistic, yet so darn pretty and easy on the eye, especially when carried off so well, wonderful build and lovely photo's!
