the black sugar tank on the prop store auction, seems to be the actual shirt worn by Pitt, and not one of the copies seen in the Hollywood Costumes exhibit. cross referenced with pics of both tanks.

I can point out the key differences between the production jackets and the JAL jackets. Aside from those differences in the pattern, the rest pattern is identical. Definitely could’ve been made by JAL from a pattern production gave him, but for some reason, he wasn’t able to match perfectly for the jackets he sells. With these new pics, you can probably get a near perfect SA jacket.
