Fifth Element Mangalore mask restoration No. 3 Kounan

Here i will show another restoration build up of a Mangalore head.
I got a copy of one of the 5th Element Mangalores from the KOUNAN molds.

Its the Mangalore who flew the attac against the MONDOSHAWAN ship with his "chief" AKNOT and was seen then in a scene meeting ZORG and pushed the "RED BUTTON" and also is prominent seen in many of the fighting scenes on Floston Paradise.

So far the copy is not bad but there has to be a lot of work to been puttin in....

There are many of terrible seam lines......someone smeared stuff over it and made lot of unnecessary and ugly scratches on it
to simulate a "Mangalore skin" texture........

I had to mill out the unwanted areas ........

I rebuilt the skin texture with Apoxie Sculpt today ..... it took a while....

So far the repair/restore work is done, now i need to paint the head with the correct color.
Luckely i have both an original hero head and also a background character head.
The background heads were painted with a middle brown and only slightly darker spots.
The hero heads were based in color with a pale light brown with many brownish and slightly brown/reddish spots.
I will go with the hero paint schema.

Next i will make the teeth, luckely again i have casts from original molds
