Yes, there are species on earth whose females are in general larger and more powerful than the males…One species that comes to mind is Crocuta, Crocuta ( spotted hyena) seeing this type of “reverse” sexual dimorphism in mammals is rare. Now if Preds are like the hyenas, than your fantasy of being stalked by a huge she pred with a voluptuous body ends here, lol. One of the reasons the Hyena female is larger and stronger than the male is because she has super, duper high levels of testosterone…so much in fact that she has a pseudo-penis.considering the fact about some of earths creatures, female predators should be stronger. in earth, lionesses are the ones who hunt, so it kinda would make sense if the female predators are better than males.
but that would be scary; other than the fact of her being a creature, i cant imagine being hunted by a female predator with a voluptuous body.![]()
Now speaking of the lioness, yes she’s one powerful creature but she’s not as strong as the male nor larger. The successes of her hunting lies in the cooperation of her and her sisters ( pride members) not her brute strength, although she is strong. She’s by far faster and more agile than the male and this also accounts for her success as a hunter.
There was once a documentary on Discovery that feature a rouge male lion who had came upon an un guarded pride of females with cubs. Male lions are known practicers of infanticide. They will kill the offspring of any rival male, which will induce a heat period in the females and he’ll then breed these same females himself.
Well these females, about 5 of them decided they were going to attack the male in hopes of driving him away.. Well guess what.!?! They didn’t . He handled them all, sometimes three of them on him at once. Finally they gave up and sadly he finished off the cubs.
