Featured Images on Homepage

Just curious where/how these images are selected. I assume it's completely random, because inevitably, I see something cool, and I click to see more and its a 6 year old dead thread. Not bitching, but is there a way to make them more current/relevant?

A user option to turn them off would be great!

I think its a nice idea of how they are added and show a history of member's work, but the older work (past 5 years) is being advertised and its tempting to comment, even though doing so would be considered spamming. Even just saying that the work is still relevant and impressive after 5 years....especially when the member is still active.

I don't know about what others are seeing but a good 70-90% of the images seem to always be predator related which I really don't have much of an interest in.

I really like the images. If I see something interesting, even if it's 6 years old, the Thread is usually a good read and I'm happy I clicked on the pic.

Totally agree! Personally I love the images, but it would be great to "mute" forums that you're not interested in.

I like the images! Content has slowed way down as of late so it’s nice to find new (old) threads to read.
