Favorite Dr. from Dr.WHO (1963-2010)

I have to name all my faves.

1: David Tennant - How could you not like him.
2: Matt Smith - Still getting the feel but he's doing a great job.
3: Paul McGann - Only one movie but he was perfect for the part.
4: Christopher Eccleston - Didn't care for him at 1st but by the end I was sorry to see him go.
5: Tom Baker - I saw more of him as the Doctor when I was growing up than any of the rest.

Christopher Eccleston!!! Thank you, he was my original Favorite, but I couldn't find his name, only David's and he's my 2nd, tom in 3rd and Matt in 4th only because he is doing a good job, I just think he's the scariest looking one I've seen, lol

Tom baker first
David Tennant second.
I even imported a Tom Baker figure for my dad's bday last year lol

Neat ER, and CC, I wish I could have, but my dad hates toys and figures, he did say he would have liked an all metal phone booth with a phone in it like I saw in the JY a little while back, but we couldn't afford it.

Tie to Tom Baker and Chris Eccleston. I'm loving Matt Smith right now. Hated, hated, hated, Tennant! So glad he's gone!

My Favs to least Favs

1. Tom Baker - 4th
2. Patrick Troughton - 2nd
3. Jon Pertwee - 3rd
4. Matt Smith - 11th
5. Peter Davsion - 5th
6. David Tennant - 10th
7. Sylvester McCoy - 7th
8. Paul McGann - 8th
9. William Hartnell - 1st
10. Colin Baker - 6th
11. Christopher Eccelston - 9th

I've been trying to determine that. Since the new Doctor Who started, the only doctor I was previously familiar with was Pertwee. Since then, I've watched all the dvd episodes of Hartnell and Troughton and I just got into the Pertwee era. So, until I go further in my Who viewings, I'll say Tennant.

Re: Favorite Doctor from Doctor Who (1963-2010)

Well for me my Favorites are listed below:

  1. Tom Baker
  2. David Tennant
  3. Christopher Eccleston
  4. Jon Pertwee
  5. Matt Smith
  6. Colin Baker

Patrick Troughton is my all time favourite. As far as I'm concerned he invented the Doctor as we know him today. Tennant was fantastic as was Eccleston and Tom Baker.

They all have their charms but the only one I don't particularly care for is Pertwee. I wish he had been more eclectic and less of a stuck up scientist. The "bound to Earth" thing didn't help either. :)

My old man say seeing Sean Pertwee would be a really cool Dr and he's waiting for him to take on the roll his old man played. He also said he liked Pertwee because he would beat the crud out of the aliens instead of running from them or anything like that.

Also, my father said that Matt Smith is obviously the result of a failed regeneration, while this is mean, he asked me to go post it right away and I did laugh a little:angel

Baker was my favorite as a kid but Tennant is my favorite now. Smith is doing an awesome job though. The only thing I would have liked to see is the Angry Tennant that was starting to show towards the end.

I will say though that Donna was one of my favorite companions. Mainly because she wasn't crazy for the doctor and seemed more like a friend.

I suppose... But I always thought it just looked sad and goofy when he gave a geriatric "aah!" and hit someone.

Matt Smith has his moments... But to be honest I find him too young in the role. This last season was the weakest of the new series. I don't like what they did to River either, she just seems arrogant now and next to Smith she looks like a cougar.

I dunno, my favorite part of Dr. Who was when Christopher Eccleston saw the Dalek, thought it was going to kill him, realized that it couldn't do anything , and started beating it with I think it was a folding chair, XD

To me,
The one, the only Doctor Who........
David Tennant

I don't like Matt Smith at all. His acting is okay-ish, but he just doesn't look the part to me.
