Love it! As a father who has spent many many hours on my daughters costumes over the years I don't think you're crazy at all. Also, very clever use of the latch plate on that blaster, I like it!

My area has a 501st garrison, and my son was absolutely enamored with the stormtrooper. Kept trying to hold his hand. Was so cute my heart wanted to explode!
