Farscape Peacekeeper Logo, how would you do this?

So I've been trying to add to my collection of Farscape props. There isn't much out there so I've had to dig into the series to find things I can make. One of the things I found was the Peacekeeper Handheld Computer, mainly used by Strappa in "Into the Lion's Den".

Which I ID'd as a "World Travel Clock Calculator" corperate tchotchke

Though the one I wound up finding has a different key layout/screen from the examples I've seen:

Anyway my question is how should I go about adding the Peacekeeper logo to the lid? The thin lines make me leery of hand painting it, so far I've come up with either a printed waterslide decal (which could "frost" the surface) or having a vinyl sticker made (which could be a PITA). Any other ideas out there as to how this could be done?

Ah, "Farscape" and the Peacekeepr's version of "Beat the Whites with the Red Wedge". Man.. that brings back memories. "Farscape" was my favorite show on Sci-Fi back when I was in high school. Actually... This year marks 10 years since the show first aired (March 19, 1999).

second the vinyl sticker idea. Draw it in illuistrator or Corel, and have it done up by a shop that can print on vinyl, like a bumper sticker.

We have several members here who work with vinyl. Your best bet would be to contact one of them to see if they can do it for you.

Thanks guys! I've actually got a friend with access to a vinyl shop, I'll see if I can schmooze him into helping me out. :cool

You may have better luck using vinyl for the larger elements and automotive pinstriping tape for the fine lines. That would give you the option to remove/reapply in case something went wonky without damaging the main layout...

Good Luck!
