Farscape on Blu-Ray

No kidding, I'd like to know it too..

Still searching for the " right " player
but I'm going Blue soon and plan on
buying allot of disks and I'd love to add this
series to the list.... :thumbsup

Kip,
I have a Samsung Blu-Ray player and it has netflix, pandora and other stuff built in. It plays 3D too but I do not have a 3D TV.

It has not skipped a beat and I have had it over a year.

NOT trying to DERAIL your won thread... :lol

What's the LOAD TIMES like ?

I think that's supposed to be the BIGGEST
gripe against many " cheaper " Blue players
is that the machines HANG or get stuck loading.

:darnkids

Kip I looked at many reviews for this and while every review says the quality is better than the DVDs, apparently they are upconverts from the Standard Definition PAL broadcast tapes.

Rumor is the 35mm prints are nowhere to be found. So the video is not that great for bluray.

The audio gets HUGE reviews with a full 5.1 DTS surround.

I will wait for the price to come down before picking these up.

I own the set and the original ADV DVDs and I can honestly tell you the video is a nice improvement. Granted it's not true HD, but compared to the over stuffed re-release DVDs that A&E released previously (which didn't look as good as the ADV release), it's a welcome improvement.

I own the set and I'm very happy with it. :)
