I know that this thread is a bit old, but hey it can't hurt to ask. Did you use epoxy perfboard for the backer? My local radio shack isn't a radio shack anymore.

Thanks Darth. Thats from Radio Shack. Around $6 and cut to fit and stained.

That is absolutely kick ass! I'm building mine now and was thinking of adding sound and lights, but I think yours just trumped that!

Would you be wiling to list your components or sell kits?

Thanks for the kind words! Id love to be able to list em but for the most part they were pulled out of old radios and such and from my parts bins.

Quick question - Under the screen, those little cylinders with the red wiring wrapped around them...What are they called, or where can you find them?
