Far Cry 3

Even with my backlog of games and the MMO that I play, you guys have me seriously wanting this game. I did not like Far Cry 2 and that's why I didn't think about picking up the third installment but reading through this thread has definitely got me intrigued. I may drop hints to certain people trying to figure out what I want for Christmas.

True lol. Back on topic, has anyone jumped off that HUGE cliff into that circular pool of water in the area that's northeast of the little village? I want to but I think it might kill me which I don't want happening lol.

Jump? No. I did however, ramp a car off the cliffs, and down into the pool. I'm pretty sure I unintentionally screamed "LEEROY JENKINS" while doing it too. I'm sure you'd be fine if you jumped though. There's some pretty neat stuff down there, a couple of caves with some ancient idols hidden away inside. Those caves can be damn creepy too.

Haha. Awesome. When I hop on the game tomorrow I'll be sure to head down there and do some exploring. Have you tried getting on some type of water craft and driving out as far as the game lets you?

No, I haven't tried that yet, I will tonight!

I am sad to say that I haven't touched this game in about a month.

I have been playing some military shooters and kinda hooked on them at the moment.

Has anyone beaten Far Cry 3 yet?

The only feature I don't like about the game is the radio tower/free weapon unlock feature. If someone goes around and activates all the towers before even doing any missions, they will have all the weapons for free. I think this is a stupid concept and doesn't motivate players at all to use the money.

One of the best games I've played to date! I love the open world and total freedom. I've played it 6 times so far... just can't make myself turn at the end! lol

I agree with that. A good idea would have been to unlock a max of 2 towers in between your following the storyline or when you reached a certain point in the story, the weapons would then become available. But I still enjoy the freedom
