Yes, another of what I'm sure is a long list of threads about how to sculpt better - I'm hoping some of the greats such as Howard or JRX (I'm sorry, I know there are many other great sculptors here - I'm fairly new round these parts and dont know most names yet) will chime in. First off - FINGERPRINTS. How to get rid of them. Not just fingerprints, but just anything that keeps the surface from being completely smooth - is there a method for getting rid of these with any ease? I heard some people say a spray bottle and some water - but I tried and it seemed to help very little. Is there something else to this technique? OK - next issue - HAIR. I'm sure everyone has their own way of doing this - but I cannot for the life of me make hair out of clay look remotely real. Facial or otherwise. Is it better to have a mostly solid block with some lines on top - or lost of lines and grooves? OK - last question - SKIN. What do you guys use for skin texture? How do you make the appearance of pores? And do you put pores on the entire face, or only in certain spots? I know, I know, very broad questions here, with many different answers - I'm just looking for some guidance to get started with. And if anyone else has questions on the subject, feel free to add them. Thanks in advance for anyone who responds.

Go over to www.theeffectslab.com and have a look in their sculpture study section and tutorials sections. Lots of info there.
