Here is a link to my video of finishing off the mask. Hope y'all enjoy.
Thank you Lord Brother Vader! Appreciate it!It feels like he jumped right off the screen!
haha, I'll upload a video here in a little bit when I get out to the shop. When do we get to see you trying on the mask???

Thank you! I made my version 1 using Zbrush and then when I modified it for V2 I switched over to Blender. I actually liked blender much better. This was the first 3d model I've ever made.Dear lord, that is incredible work!! What did you use to make the 3d model?
I meant what did you use as your reference material? Chewie has always been my favorite character, and I've seen pics of the original (and replica) underskulls, but I'd have no idea what dimensions and such to use to make a 3d model. I assume you've been doing this kinda thing for a while now? (For those of us who dream of making a killer Wookiee costume some day)Thank you! Oh, my bad. I misunderstood. I actually used one of the screen used masks for getting the approximate size. One just sold at auction and they had the dimensions on the listing. Other than that I just used Google for original trilogy Chewbacca pictures. This was my first mask ever and first 3d model. Check out my videos if you want to see some of the process. Hope I answered all the questions. If not let me know.I meant what did you use as your reference material? Haha, Thanks!I'm gonna run out of internet ink praising your mask, but the video really sells it!
Thank you! This looks spot on! Excellent
Here's a picture of my first attempt next to the V2. Also some other photos that I took messing around with styling the hair and various filters.
Haha, what picture are you talking about? Is it my naked mannequin or my messy shop? LolNot wanting to distract too much from the absolutely jaw-dropping work that you've done with this but...
...what on earth is going on in the background?
