I would think get a bottle cap. Paint it red. Make a mask for the letters using the photograph you posted since it is close to being head on but there will be some minor discrepancies to the original piece since it is not exactly headon. Cut out and paint the letters using the mask. Seal with a clear coat. Get a key chain piece which a lot of hobby stores carry to create your own key chains and glue on using your glue of choice or you can drill a small hole in the bottle cap and attache to the key chain that way.

The outside of that cap looks like it's been flattened evenly around. Edit: appears they come that way. 
You should be able to buy metal ones (need to be painted) from the homebrew folks.
After a quick search, found these. Look plastic to me, but does look like what you're looking for.. (and at K-Mart)
