I was looking at a couple good Fallout New Vegas Platinum chip replicas on Etsy. One is a little larger than a poker chip and another is the same size as a poker chip. I was under the impression in the game that the Platinum chip was larger than a regular poker chip. Does anyone know for sure? I tried Googling it, and came up with nothing.

The Platinum chip that came with the collectors edition of the game is bigger than stranded chips as the pic shows.

In-game it appears to be about the size of a silver dollar.

For some dumb reason I never clued into the fact that it was a poker chip. It's so obvious now, lol. I thought it was like a computer chip.

Well it was a computer chip, but in poker chip-esque form.

I don't know why I got the impression it was larger, but I guess I'm right. I'm going to try to get one for my nephew for Christmas.

I ended up getting this one and it's awesome: Fallout Platinum Poker Chip Lucky 38 | Etsy

I will probably weather it up a little bit. I got one as a Christmas present for my nephew and wanted to see if anyone had any good ideas for how to display it? He doesn't have any other Fallout props other than some Nuka Cola and Sunset Sarsaparilla caps. My first idea was mounting it in a shadow box with some green felt, like a card table, but I think it needs something else inside. I thought maybe some NCR patches or something.
