Fallout 4

I noticed the synth relay grenades still work after blowing up the institute.

The best part is that even in the Joe comics and cartoon those suits of armor are clunky like the toy, instead of having it look different in the show and the toy.

It also bugs me that when you kill someone in power armour you can't take the frame.

Haha... Yeah, that's pretty retarded... although I think i Have 4 or 5 frames, so I don't think i need many more... I barely use the ones I have.
It would be cooler if you could pop the core (since you can't even salvage that if I remember right) and pull the corpse out.
Since you can't they should just have the thing broken or blown up so at least it would make sense not to be able to take it.

Core should definitely be usable. After blowing up a sentry bot you get the cores and that thing acts as if the cores themselves are detonating. With the exception of the one quest where you have to use the power armour (saving the Minutemen) I didn't wear power armour once for a mission during my initial run through. Only to collect suits that I found. Even then, I've got about a dozen laying around. Maybe if I'm looking for more to do I'll collect suits and have them in every paint scheme.

How did you get through the highly radioactive area to the south without it?

The only time I take mine off is when I need to swim, or sleep for an hour to get my strength back.

You can only take the core (and the frame) when they are alive (pickpocket the core, the raider/BoS hops out and there you go) But it's considered stolen, which as mentioned, is pretty silly.

That is also a good way to kill the brotherhood of steel patrols for the railroad, pickpocket them out of their armour, then headshots all round.

Yes but the AP/height limitations are balls. I want to fly all over the wasteland dammit!

I know what you mean. I'm trying to buff up my action points as much as I can right now. Those who aren't squeamish about doing chems will find Jet Fuel to be very useful for this as well.

I'd like to state at this moment just how much I truly LOVE having a jetpack on my Power Armor.

IT'S SO AWESOME!!!! :p

It truly was a game changer for me. Just don't drop around friendlies. They HATE those shakes.

Is it bad that the most interesting folks I've met in the game are those looney robots trying to get the ship back to the ocean? To me they have to have a colorful backstory, especially the Sentrybot captain given how dumb they usually are.

Looking forward to getting the jetpack... is that a find or a purchase in the game?

Interesting.... The next time they're at that quarry I'm going to stealth boy up to the raider in the power suit and see if I can pick-pocket him out of it.

So... if you go to long without sleeping your strength starts dropping?

If your crafting is high enough I think you can just make the jetpack or you can get one from the BOS but i've had one for good while before i earned the BOS one. One thing that i just thought of, how does our character know how to use the armor in the first place? In the opening vid he's just a grunt marching next to them and if you play as her you're a housewife with a law degree lol. I assume maybe all soldiers get armor training during basics but she should have to be trained. They just threw out 4 games worth of canon when it comes to needing training for armor.
