Fallout 4

Yeah, I squeezed as much as I could into getting side quests, bobbleheads, Magazines, armour, companions done before hitting end game. The hardest part was doing the main quests and trying not to push one side too far, that happy balance. But, so help me if another settlement needs help... ;)

I have found that if you do two or three quests, rescue the people, kill the bad guys, report back to the settlements, but dont actually go talk to Preston, they dont give you any more.

Then they eventually autocomplete. And of course, listening to Minutemen radio. I've even had settlers come up and ask for help.

I had to reload a game yesterday, because i had built some defences at a settlement then jumped down from a great height and must have killed a settler, because suddenly everyone is shooting at me, including the guns I just built, and Curie instantly went from adoring me to leaving me.

using those explosive vents? I never tried those, but the issues I had with the Tesla coils chest piece was bad enough. Some neutral NPC would bump me and agro. You even have to be careful with the Targeting mod for the helmets, plenty of times you'd enter an area to have people sudden shift (Covenant and with Virgil quests esp)

Bethesda's turning into Disney when it comes to pimping out Fallout stuff, just look at their store online. Now they slapped a vault-tec logo on a 400.00 portable audio system on their site.

Because they know the crazies will buy it. They put a $500 price tag on one of their posters, or close to that with a snowboard...they sold.

I still haven't got a settlement to over 84% and that's with the expanded settlement mod (for size). They have everything you could want so I have no idea what else those little jerks want! :lol I thought it was because I didn't have a medical merchant (because I didn't have the medic perk) and it only bumped me up 1%! Then some, like Sanctuary, will wildly fluctuate for no apparent reason. It went from 82% to 58% last night.

Another thing I found that was odd is that Lucas (the traveling armor merchant) says something about working as a caravan guard. Why couldn't they let you do that for money? Also after doing the BoS mission with the missing supplies, can you see working down there with... (don't read if you haven't done the Brotherhood story)
Liberty Prime constantly stomping around?!?! It bugged me just being there for that mission!

I found a fast and easy way to do the 100 percent trophy at the red rocket station and that's how i got it. I couldn't care less after i got that so i tore down everything in my base except the armor facilities.

How? Do tell!

Don't get me wrong it's still going to take a while which is why I ended up roaming but it sure beats trying to keep the idiots at Sanctuary happy lol

I followed much the same procedure as that article at Red Rocket but I had 6 clinics, my defence was around 100, I had 9 people (all settlers - no named people- 6 for the clinics, 2 for food and one defence) 10 beds. My food was around 10 and water about the same (just enough to feed) Decorated with rugs, pictures, statues, lights and a TV (cause cat painting alway put a smile on the face!). Power to the building and the 2 missile launchers I had on the top of the gas bay areas. I had a romantic companion (Cait) so I'd get some bonus XP as I built up and defended the place, and for her witty comments.

Once I had the place set up, I stacked the wooden yellow boxes until the settlement bar was full and i got the "cannot build anymore" notice. Then began the waiting, I was at about 60% at the start and I did end up leaving twice early on since it seemed to move more when I was away (probably just because it's time) but once it reached 80% or so I stuck around. I was only attack by raiders once and the rocket launchers took care of business before I could even locate them.

So I'd sit and wait until midnight, once the settlers had gone to bed, I'd go to bed until 8, Up, mill about, talk to a setter or so, maybe farm food, then sit again, and repeat. I'd see the happiness bar go up every 2nd or 3rd day. And finally, while staring into the dark just after midnight, I got the achievement (I was hoping it would happen when I was in my ManCave of a garage, watching TV, but no - so the screen grab the PS4 automatically takes when you get an achievement is a very dark landscape.

The process probably took about 3-4 hours of real time. It was my final achievement, getting the platinum achievement for 100% completion.

I did it last night. Took about 2 hours with that tutorial. Had defense at 134. :lol

Then of course I killed them all and went back to a previous game. :)

Thanks for the link to the tutorial! Worked a charm.

Met my first Behemoth... wasn't expecting to have boulders chucked at me so that was a thing.

I realized today I don't have Dogmeat... I've been trekking around with dummy Codworth. I need to find the dog because the robot is annoying as all get out.

first behemoth I found was way over my level at the time, by a car Stonehenge. there was an abandoned bus nearby, so I put a mine down by the bus, got inside and sniped it till it ran over and hit the mine, then just used shotgun thru the bus windows. it couldn't do a damn thing to get me lol
