Fallout 4

Put his head on a pike outside. "See what he made me do?" :lol
That might be totally doable if he's not unkillable. Just get one of these railway rifles, a critical shot to the head right in front of the place you want and watch his head get ripped off by the spike then impaled on a wall behind. That rifle is just insane.

I had my first "no more can be built" warning today, had to scrap a few things just to be able to build some beds.

I have made the enterprise and the millenium falcon, albeit in super blocky style.

Sounds like my favorite gun from the first FEAR game where you could nail enemies to the wall with it.

Don't know if you guys know about this or not, but dropping stuff from your inventory, mostly weapons, and then store them in the workbench while in build mode tricks the game into thinking you're removing things you've built already. Managed to build a whole city in the starlight drive-in settlement. Now if I could have more than 18 settlers that would be nice.

This game has the most serviceable looking vehicles in any of the games outside the original 2 yet nobody has thought to repair them with all the parts and fusion cores? Nobody is even using them as trailers to haul stuff?

I want my highwayman back.

That's one of, if not THE, best FPS guns ever! I would just run around and try to pin people to walls. That game was really creepy.

That's one of the things that really bugs me. Like I said previously, it seems like the East coast never rediscovered the wheel. In New Vegas (maybe the first two games, can't remember) they at least have carts for caravans to haul things. They also had a functional car. I'm sure there were some well protected cars that would be serviceable. It seems like fusion cores are everywhere, so no reason they couldn't rig those to run a car. If you can build a blimp and a giant stompy robot, a car is easy. Now I wouldn't want cars zooming around everywhere, but some of the more tech savvy groups could get vehicles running.

I mean in F2 you even get a restored car, if CA can recover after the hell that happened there anyone can. Even if it's a motorcycle you'd think you'd see something. In fallout 1 as soon as you get to the Hub you see trailers made out of the remains of cars being used by caravans. I mean a few animals pulling a stripped down truck or something could be a good way to fast travel too like a restored public transit. There's alot of stuff in the art book for F4 I'd have loved to have seen in game including a Institute exclusive suit of power armor. I agree the original Fear and the 2 expansions were great. Then the official sequels weren't so good and the last one I tried once and gave up on.

I don't know, the roads usually aren't really that passable in F3 and on. Seems like there would be a lot of having to drive around areas or getting out of car to go on foot in some places.

This happened tonight at Nordhagen beach.

"Don't do it Jim! I promise not to say anything about your hat again!"

Does the endless supply of go fix this or that issue quests from the settlements stop at any point?
Also, I'm like 100 hours in and just got to the Institute. I know there's a point where Preston can become you companion, but when I talk with him he only ever gives me more **** to do. I've already taken back the castle and done that crap. I'm starting to think my save is glitched.

I don't think it ever stops. I thought maybe that after you get enough new Minutemen they would take over some. Apparently you are the only one who can do anything. I wouldn't have a problem doing them, but after completely clearing the Corvega Assembly plant for the 3rd time, I'd had it.

I think those are like the Radiant quests in Skyrim. they just keep generating them so you always have stuff to do. doesn't hurt anything to skip em

I wish enemy Vertibirds had more health and armor on them because their mechanics have the makings of being a terrific boss fight. After getting to level 70, I started bumping into Vertibirds that are operated by the Gunners. I saw one take off thinking it was another brotherhood patrol but than it turned around, looked straight at me and open fired. Holy cow I thought! But the fight was a very simple one. Just shoot at it for a few seconds, watch it spin out of control and explode. Considering all that's involved with the Vertibirds you'd think there would be more to their fights. I was hoping that while it was doing it's strafing run that I would need to seek cover so that the mini-gun operator didn't spray me with bullets and in order to bring the whole thing down I had to eat through all it's armor plating.

Still, watching Brotherhood of Steel completely wasting so much resources and manpower around the Common Wealth is one of the coolest things about the game. Watching battles take place that you can simply watch and enjoy is awesome.

Yeah skipping Preston's crap never hurts. I used them to level up really fast at first but then just gave up because they're the same 4 quests all the time. Vertibirds crash very easily surprisingly, you see them in exploding all the time downtown when they randomly swoop in to attack a position. I'm pretty sure they're made of tinfoil if weapons made out of plumbing supplies hurt them. I usually wait for them to crash and try to find that lone corpse that is always thrown out of it to loot.

Hey, you remember those BioWare moments where if something important happened during a quest line that involved one of your companions it would open up a bunch of new options in your future interactions with said companion? Let's enjoy Bethesda's take on that scenario.

Or how about BioWare's romance system where once you romance a specific character, the mechanics plays out like it knows you're in a relationship with that specific character. Character interactions, dialogue options, all that good stuff to show that your PC is in a relationship that matters. Bethesda?

Seriously, look at those options.

1. Hitting on me?
2. Still Grieving
3. Hell no.
4. Some day perhaps.

At this stage In FluffyNinjaLlama's playthrough, their PC is romancing Hancock who is standing right behind her. Not only are there no options to say that you are in fact in a relationship with a Ghoul, but all the other conversation ending pieces lead to either a 'no' for an answer or a "Dead Husband" response. Note how Fluffy selects 'Some day perhaps" and the PC still responds with a grieving statement about getting over the loss of her husband.

When fans of Witcher 3 criticized some of the game's romance options in the game, this is what the developer, CD Projekt Red did.

"We will be addressing this situation by adding/changing some dialogue stuff in the future — more info on this will come later so pardon my scarce input for the time being, This should help with the immersion."

Oh, if only we got that treatment for Fallout 4. At this point, I'd rather pay for DLC that fixes issues like the ones shown above than pay for DLC that does not. But I already paid $30 for the very generous '$40 dollar value based on nothing' season pass so who knows what will happen.

My favourite Hancock moment was when he took me to one side and told me an earnest story about how he did nothing while someone was dragged away and killed, and how he vowed he would never let that happen again, while in the background raiders where running around killed settlers around us, which neither of us could get involved with while he was talking.

I'd love to see a fallout with bioware convo options, it's the thing bioware does best and honestly I'm surprised more companies don't put that much effort into it.

You do know that you CAN move your character away from the talk, even when the angles change to the "cinematic" view. You are not locked in dialog as the old games.
