Fallout 4 - Walking with a Pip-Boy in real-life Boston ?

Hey Folks,
I'll be visiting Boston on my own next weekend, and was wondering if bringing my replica Pip-Boy (the one that came with the special edition game), strapping it to my arm and walking the Freedom Trail and other landmarks of Fallout 4 while recording the trip with a gopro is a good idea ? It sounds like tremendous fun to me as well as the potential for a nice souvenir video, but I'm worried that in this day and age the Pip-Boy might look suspicious to some people. And last thing I want is to create a situation ! Am I being paranoid or is it a real risk ?
For that matters, I'd be down doing the same in DC, Fallout 3 style, although the app is for the Commonwealth alone, I could whip something out. But same problem, don't won't to create trouble !

do u have a picture? i don't know what you are referring to. if it is a gun replica, just remember we had the marathon bombing, and since then walking around with some kind of weapon is frowned upon. just look at boston comic con and all the problems the cod players had walking around with riot gear and what not

No no, nothing like a weapon ! I'm not crazy, I'm more worried of it looking like "a bomb" to someone maybe... Essentially it's a big-ass smart watch !

I think it should be ok... especially if you have a gopro attached to your head. Also the lights are green, people seem to associate red lights with bombs probably thanks to movies

You'll be fine walking around with your PipBoy. I went to Boston, myself. It's neat how the map looks when you've been looking at the Fallout 4 map for so long. They did a good job replicating it.

Just........try not to drive too much in Boston. Some of the most aggressive, worst drivers I've ever encountered.

Thanks. Definitely will take it with me then. And strap a paper to it in my suitcase explaining what it is for TSA Agents, in case it looks weird in their X-ray.
And I Might take you up on the offer ! I've got about 6 days back in Fairfax or McLean after Boston, depending on how things are happening with my friends there, I might have some time. And I'd love to see these marvellous Fallout 4 props of yours up close. Plus that Mustang/Camaro/Camaro SS I rented is gonna need to see some road to be worth what I paid for for it !
