Hello Everyone! I'm new here so I thought I would start with my recent builds and go from there. Let me know what you think!
First Off are my Nuka Colas, Yes I know A dime a dozen but these are the first replicas I have made, only started a few days ago, and look, they can defy gravity. I bet yours can't do that!
I order some UV LEDs and blue & green florescent Pigment (dissolvable) for the Quantum. I managed to design a simple LED circuit that fits inside the cap still allowing it to be re attached, not sure how well it will work and am kind of expecting some diffraction issues sense the led will be above the waterline but hopefully some of the alternate methods I have on paper will work out.
Next I have some Mentats and a bottle of Buff Out
The mentats are cheesy being just a cardstock box and the buff out was another quick and easy prop. Now that my feet are wet I'm beginning to work on more complex builds. So far I have only finished This Baseball Grenade.
I have seen a few online but not that have a functional, Spring loaded Plunger. Pulling the pin drops the plunder and gives off that awesome grenade pill pulling sound! Finding the pieces was a task but luckily I have bens full of misc. hardware. I am going to go back and make a new pin though to match the one from the game. This is just one I already had on hand.
That's all I have so far but there are many more to come! Let me know what you think and any tips for the new guy are greatly appreciated. Also feel free to be critical, I'm a graphic designer by trade so I prefer critical analysis of my work.
