looks awesome, better than the original even, do you have good screen grabs or other reference?
the ones i have dont show the detail you have in yours...
is it meant to be idealized... or do you have some early shots before being all bent around for the stop motion?
deffinately interested, how big a run are we talkin?

Im off to mold him right now.
oldken - I did screencaps and had scans of the Star Wars Archives book. This one seems to have more detail than some of the other chess pieces , especially with the clothing . So I used all that, and then made some sense of what I couldnt tell from the picts. Also the picts in the Star Wars Chronicles book are of 30 yr old foam critters so theres some cracking and general deterioration. I just chose to make him look fresher. The #3 seems rougher than this guy so it should go faster.
If I remember correctly the task of doing the original stop motion pieces went to a handful of people so theres no 1 style going on.
I dont know if theres an actual member interest list, I guess those of us doing these should figure that out once were rollin. I think the nice thing is that since each one takes time to do, everyone can get the whole set spread out over time and not torch their wallets.
I am still working on the Luke head too so that should be done soon, but all this stuff gets done after regular work so I dont have as much time as Id like :confused

I can sculp the figurines but I dont want to make ane that is still in progress.
I only saw the #8 finished and #3 and #7 are in progress.
I only have the ref pics posted and tons of screen caps. If someone has other pics would be very usefull.
