I just wanted to share the progress on a faceless mask I am doing for SixsinsFOr66.
It will be similar to the full "Ancient One" Elder mask that he now owns, but will be open for wearing a bio over, improving vision overall when he chooses to wear it with his costume. I'll be popping in the dreads next and them doing the final detail painting and finishing of the mask and dreads afterwards.
The paint work so far is with an acrylic/latex mix for more durability and adhesion to the mask along with the prosaide. No airbrushing. Just old-fashioned sponge and brush at this point. I've still got the spots to do, even though most of them will not be seen and some whiskers for under the chin, the jaw line and at the temples.
So far, I am pleased with the paint work and expect to be done within the next week so that it can be ready to go for Halloween.
