Yes, yes, because we're all pretty much geeks in here, we are allowed to give this to our children. It's good, and they can practice Alien killing on it.

(Oh god ):lol

Smaller Replica of AVP' s Face-hugger, "huggy".
Sculpted in Plastline, Made in Latex, and foam with movable armature on it, so you can trow it anyhere, in pretty much anything move the legs and the tail, it will hold XD.
That was the very first one i did, at the time i had no experience in airbrushing so everything is handpainted with brush, it took me about 4 days to do it. With a little more experience and time, i think i can do better..but i was still pleased how it came out...

; )

Re: New toys for kid : Baby face hugger!

Oh. I thought you meant a face-hugger for infants. I opened this thread imagining a plushie facehugger for my 4 month old son. :D

Looks great, though! My wife would divorce me before this ever set foot inside our home, considering my other thread in the OT. :)

Re: New toys for kid : Baby face hugger!

I was expecting the FH plush, as well :lol:lol

Nice job on that - especially considering it's in foam and latex AND poseable :cool. I probaly would have just cast it as a static piece in resin and been done with it. I need to get more daring in my old age :lol.

I don't think the airbrush would make that much of a difference. I think that, sometimes, brush painting looks more organic.

Reminds me, though - I need to get back to fixing my pulse rifle. The grenade launcher section seperated from the rest of the gun. Time to break out the gorilla glue.

Sorry bout that..i had a wicked mind today >< (bad girl!)

Yeah..i wanted too at first, but i thought it might have been interesting to do something a bit different for a change? ... (i was wondering if i should change the title if it's that confusing , and how to do it...?)

It's under Edit --> Go Advanced, then you'll be able to change the title in the top bar.

That's obviously photoshopped, but still funny. :)

Not familiar with the plush facehugger in the other photo, but more realistic ones sell on Amazon for $30.

Done! Thanks!
That should be better : )

True! But since i discovered airbrushing , stuff stopped taking me forever to do. Therefore i do agree with you on that, it does look more organik, but i think i might had more "transparence", with a bit of airbrushing at the base?

Might test it on the next one;....:unsure

That looks great, I have been looking for one for my collection for some time. Still one of the eeriest cinematic moments I have seen!
