Fabs homemade Indiana Jones Props

Hello everyone,

I'm a guy from Germany just looking whats possible. After being an Indy fan for a long time I did a cosplay with my son as Indy and shorty last year.(2020) In the process of researching the costume I slowly started to make some of the props I'd like to have as well. The one I can make. Slowly the thing grew and I had fun to push the limits and also wanted to have a little collection myself. Although I always try to get as close to SA as possible, I'm as well if not more interested in having something that feels real. Here are some of the pieces. Some pieces I have to admit I can't make to my satisfaction and so I bought them. But this thread is only for the pieces I made. I try to show as many steps of the process as I can but if there are any questions just ask. If there are only a couple of people I can inspire I'm happy.

Grail tablet made of wood and painted with acrylic colours.
I traced the writing on the wood piece with carbon paper. Afterwards I did the carving with a dremel and treated the edges with a chisel and a belt sander

The painting I did with acrylic colours and airbrush. The top part I didn‘t paint because I only need it for the Grail tablet rubbing insert for the diary. ;)
I hope you like it.

So here my next project. The Ravenbar Headpiece with necklace. I prepared a 3D printed version of the headpiece, molded it with heatresisting silicone and casted it in pewter. For now with golden paint and transparent acrylic stones for the eyes.

The necklace is straight forward. Turquoise and red coral stone, old chinese coin and the chains holding together with brass wire.

Little Venice library window on acrylic glas. (18x11cm) Printed on watersliding decal paper and transfered to the acrylic glas. Cut out and cleaned up. For display I put white paper on the back to see the colors better.

Voodoo Doll
Again straight forward the sewing and leatherwork. The head I cut out, filed and dremeled out of a chunck of hemlock wood. The whip is of course roohide  A piece of strap my whip was bound together.

Rucksack Patch

The stamp is made of aluminum. The shape I cut out of an old computer case and filed it into shape.
My rucksack is a an old original german military one. So I decided to match the colors of the patch to the rucksack. I know not screenaccurate but as it's my everyday backpack that's what I went with. ;)
