A quick search didn’t turn up anything;

Has anyone tried tackling Ezra Bridger’s DL-44 heavy blaster pistol from rebels? I’m kinda keen on trying it. Seems like you could start with the bottom half of a denix Mauser, and then scratch build the rest. Some screenshots and some slightly inaccurate schematics I found online:

Oh man, yeah! that is cool and I would love to tackle that too! I'll be following your work with interest, good luck :)

Dude what are you inside my brain or something? I was thinking about what a potential "live-action" representation of Ezra's DL-44 would look like too to other day

After I finish up my DL-21 and a Bespin DL-44 I’ve got in the works, I’m going to start tinkering on it…

Is the toy mauser simply to make prototyping easier and more cost-effective for you? or does it have better dimensions for Ezra's DL-44? Because if its the latter I cannot wait to see this thing built on a Denix
The toy Mauser was because it was cheap, and if I cut it up and destroy it, I’m not out much! :)

Few more pics before bed. Overall I’m pleased with how it’s coming out. More fabricating and then lots of filling and priming and sanding to do. I’ve had to adjust some of the “dimensions” from the cartoon prop to make it work in real life, but I think it’s looking like a pretty fair representation!
