Extreme cosplaying much?

I was gonna say, "gee that dude looks a bit Asian"...then I saw that his first name was Herbert....then I saw that his last name is Chavez...then I realized he was form the Philippines...and saw that he's about 4foot 5in.....and I got really confused.

But I really don't think that he doesn't look like superman. Though it's hard to ignore from the video that he's got a bit of an obsession going on.

He's had fake muscle implants and that's as big as he can get? Plus he has all that money to spend on surgery, but not enough for an accurate costume?

Proof that they both have/had plastic surgery addiction. He kind of looks like Superman's mini me lol

And despite all of his surgeries he look's nothing like superman, well maybe as mini me (or barbie me) version, as wes r said =P

Well, the problem with trying to make yourself look like someone like Superman (aside from the fact that you're probably looney-frickin'-toons to try) is this: WHICH representation do you aim for?!

Superman has had numerous different looks over the decades, from the George Reeve serials, to the Chris Reeves movies, and now to Brandon Routhe.. not to mention the HUGE number of artists who've interpretted him over the course of the comics' run!

In theory I have no problem with plastic surgery. There is no doubt that being good looking makes things easier, and why should someone have to suffer due to some bad genetic luck? If someone could thoeretically pay to make themselves look how they always wanted to, then more power to them.

The problem is that the process produces mixed results at best, and often the person ends up spending tens of thousands of dollars for only negligable improvements in thier face that are barely noticeable. And those small improvements come at the price of making it look signifigantly more creepy and artificial.
