After watching Ex Machina I decided that I wanted the painting that Nathan had in his compound where Caleb and him discuss AI. After looking online it seems to be most similar to Jackson Pollock's No.5 1948. I had to do the painting mostly off of memory and also because the screenshot I had from the film looks to be slightly different than the original. And since I was trying to do the film's version I didn't use photos of the original painting. Because I couldn't get a replica easily I decided to make my own using similar colors. The canvas I used was 36x60 and I used Orange as the base color, Black, Slate Gray, Yellow, White and Red. I thought it turned out fairly well and it definitely was a fun experience!
