Ewok costume how to? Any interest? I’ll show you how I make them!

I have made many Ewoks over the years such as masks, full costumes and statues etc and I have been asked many times for a faceplate and also how do I make these?

Is there any interest in a how to tutorial with links to where I get the parts for the hands/feet and all other parts to make your own ewok costume for any shape or size of Person! I will show you how to do this both with sewing and just glue ( yes no sew full Ewok costume!) and approx £45/$60 of bits and bobs on top of the cost of fur. The fur is your choice, there’s no exact type if u want it to be brown and white like wickets face then Id paint the fur white in that section after it’s applied! Salon style! this is what they did in the movie just painted the main fur. If it was 2 toned.
Here in UK there isn’t much option for furs but in USA there tonnes. I’d recommend 2” long high quality faux fur.

I will also make and supply a standard wicket style (90% of the one I’ve made are these] faceplate for you to finish etc. Should there be people wanting a different face type like Logray/teebo etc with a piggie nose then if there’s enough people I can make this too.

Im unsure if there will be any people wanting to take me up on this offer of a run I would need 10 people to start this run so I can go back and make new moulds etc, I’d have to build a head and take pics etc. No time scale when set to do this run depends on interest!

£50 uk
$65 USA

you will get a face plate ready for painting and full instructions of how and where to get everything else. I will show you how to make the hood and jewellery, when I say everything I’d need to make an Ewok I mean it. Also I am on here most days and can answer all your questions should you need any.

Here are pics to show you some builds and what you could make!
i will provide the actual faceplate pics should this have interest.

Wow, looks awesome! I saw a full-size (adult sized) Ewok at Celebration last year and thought it would be so cool to do one, but had no idea where to even start

Full instructions and patterns will be given! All u need is a little time and patience to build one. also trying to replicate a certain Ewok is hard. Look at the two Ewok TV movies they weren’t the same

Just don't leave them outside.

Those are Endor costumes!!

Sorry. I'll go sit in the corner now and think about what I did. Looks like a great set btw. Have a bump.

Your pictures look great, really impressive!

Can you give me a ball park estimate of how it would cost for someone like myself who has never made an ewok suit? In materials?

I’d say about $50 or less for stuff like hands and feet, velcro, contact adhesive, paints. Most can get from dollar store. Then the fur on top i get 2 meters as it’s wide enough to make a full costume for a standard Ewok. My fur is £65 meter by 0.75m for top quality but it’s way cheaper in USA. We don’t have a Joannes or any good fabric shops for faux furs just cheapo nasty under £10. Get high quality luxury furs

Mpashuk was kind enough to make an Ewok bust for me earlier this year , and I gotta say it came out looking awesome!! If anyone can show you how to make one it’s him , he did such an amazing job , I’m not manual enough to make one myself , however i encourage anyone thinking of doing this build to try it . He knows his Ewoks Yub Nub !!!!
