I wish. I make the sleeve inserts and modify the T bolt clamps to match the screen caps I have.

It cost me over $1000 for tools and equipment. And that’s not including all the trial and error with the machinist I had to hire to make the die set. It took over 6 sets and I paid for each of them. That was a little over $600.

Speak of the deadite, and he shall appear... Halliwax and I made this back in like, 2019 for cheap. It was meant to be just a fun build over a couple weekends. I got a similar chainsaw off of eBay for $14. I think in all, it cost about $50 and it used the coffee can method for the cuff. In truth, we could have trimmed it close to the recessed area, but for a quick build, I've always been happy with it.

Looks great! I've been looking at different builds for this for my own project. I was going to buy one of those fake chainsaws on amazon but I snagged a homelite XL 2 on eBay for 30 bucks. 20 dollars cheaper than the fake saw. Gonna do the flat top version.

My first prototype was a can of beans. The grooves were spaced almost identical but if you even looked at it funny, it would bend.

So, Halliwax actually 3-D printed chainsaw chain (I think he dound it on thingiverse?), we cut out an alluminum blade then we glued it all together.

Real chainsaw bars would be lighter and possibly cheaper these days than plywood. The bars I use changed to an aluminum core. They are very light. I do have to modify them to fit and look as the bar on the flat top looks in screen caps. The worst is grinding down the sharpness of the chain with a dremel and sanding the link rivets to be silver. But plastic shower wall sheet material is similar in thickness to the gauge the bar metal is. You could sandwich a bar of aluminum with it and paint it.

Killer, I’m too paranoid to work with glue. I just never had much luck. Even with all the different formulas available. When I make my clamps I braze the sleeves in place so I could stay accurate with only 3 brackets holding it onto the saw for the flat top.

He used E-6000 and it's still holding, and I have brought it to a renaissance faire (dressed as Ash).

Killer, I’m too paranoid to work with glue. I just never had much luck. Even with all the different formulas available. My prototype clamp and all the others with the sheet metal inserts I brazed.
