Every part of Marty McFly's outfit from Back to The Future Part 1 (Mostly focused on the 1984 Guess denim jacket)

Just saw this. Kinda reminds me of what Marty's would have looked like if it were a normal jean jacket.

Can anybody with a four-segment waistband jacket (1985+) as well as someone with a correct Marty style 2-band (NOT the 1983 design) take a picture of just the waistband with a ruler going perpendicular to the stitch lines? I have a hunch about something but I’m not 100% sure.

What's up with this specific vest? Maybe it's just me, but it looks nothing like any other C5 I've ever seen. It looks flat, the wrong material, and really elongated. Most others I've seen are somewhat puffy and partially dense looking, but not this one. I think this one's pockets are just too small. They should come in and up a bit farther.

Edit: I think THIS ^ vest and ---------------------- THIS ^ vest
are the same vest. The buttons line up exactly. Maybe even ---------------------------------------THIS ^ vest, too.

That's correct. They were just his normal sneakers. I guess that meant props department didn't have to get sneakers.
MJF was originally supposed to wear dark green converse, a hand over from Eric Stoltz original costume. There was a joke in the diner about him being a leprechaun because of his green shoes. The joke was changed to focus on his life preserver once the look was drastically changed. The only reason the green converse wasn't used is because the costume designer forgot to bring them to the MJF's costume fitting.

Lol what??? That’s hilarious. Life preserver is still funnier.

Also, has anyone else noticed that the Drew Struzan poster doesn’t depict him with a correct Class-5 vest? It has squared-off pockets like a period The North Face vest rather than the nice curved pockets of a Class-5.

1. Not a Class-5 (wrong pockets)
2. Probably not a Casio CA-50 (looks more like a leather band)
3. Not the Guess jacket (no waistband and buttons on opposite side)
