Ever wanted to make a costume NO ONE would recognize (Robotix)?

I've got my Red-Shirt get up done for this Halloween, considering Ghostbuster for next year too.

But I have this insane idea to do a SUPER accurate costume of one of the guys from ROBOTIX - that's right, the Milton Bradley building sets from the 80s. They in essence looked like astronauts, only with really cool space suits. A link to a figure site would probably help I know.

That's cool! I'd probably avoid doing a lot of things like that because I wouldn't want the hassle of explaining it. After awhile I'd just hang a sign on my neck so I could stop telling people who I was. :lol

I know where you are coming from, I dressed as Hunk from Voltron in his civvies this year for DragonCon, the lack of recognition was astounding, and I realized that if I hadn't made up a Voltron Key to wear on my vest (which, I know, Hunk never wore with his everyday outfit) I would have been dressed just as some random hippie.

For Halloween, my favorite costumes are the ones that very few people recognize.

I've had people ask "what's a Ghostbuster?" and "...what are you?" when I was a Power Ranger...

Oh boy Talk about not being recognised. This is the only time I wasn't asked who am I supposed to be. Every outfit I've done at Six Flags Fright Fest, I'd get asked the same stupid question. "Who are you supposed to be?" God, I was so sick of people asking me that. This year however, They know what I am. A Bloodly Pirate!
I wear my renaissance outfit that I had made for me along with a costume store find Pirate shirt I made into a vest( Black with Gold trim) a Floor length red a black hooded cape, Also made for me. A Pair of moccasins and Black Gauntlets I bought at a Flea market and carrying a plastic broadsword. Now Instaed of trying to explain my outfit to the guests, I'm scaring the crap out of them ! hahahhaaa!
