Who knows what kind of elves we'll get this time. This behind the scenes might not be showing us anything about the character except part of the costume.

The elves were all so stolid in LOTR, except when interacting with Gimli - go figure. Dwarfs make elves smile.

Nestor Carbonell And Henry Ian Cusick as wizards.

Those were and still are my favorite characters other than Michael Emerson of course. Come to think of it, the actor who played Echo could make a serious villain.

I could see Terry as an ent too. *hehe*
Mark Pellegrino (Jacob) would make a good elder elf... Celeborn's age.
Matthew Fox would fit in at Rivendell.
Titus Welliver... hmmm.... someone like Wormtougue. *hehehe*

Yes, they were all "la la lolly". I imagine Jackson has toned that down, but I will be disappointed if they're as dour as they are in LOTR. These years are a bit happier for the elves, and the Grey Havens exodus was not yet in full swing.
