eva foam motorized iron man helmet

if you it motorized then you 'll need to find a way to make it hard and strong so that it wont move with the servos. i suggest you to make on regular pep with resin and bondo
also with foam you wont have very nice detail such as with the resin and bondo one

Dude!! Lurk more! Don't just spam every thread! There are a hundred different threads about sealing foam.
Use search and search for "rondo" docholiday has a good thread about that method. There are many others.

I haven't seen this pulled off. It is tricky enough using non floppy resin instead of foam.

paper mached the inside of the helmet and made a hindge sys that seems to work will post pics when i get bk from work

so this is my hinged eva helmet so far. i paper machi the inside for stiffness but found it was coming away from the sealed side of the mask so then had to pull it all out and hot glue it back in. then i made the hinge wich will be a pull sys on a bike brake cable when i put the servo in any thoughts will be a help

dont seal he inside before paper macheying it then itll stick properally trust me i do it al the time

i didnt seal it inside the mats are heat pressed with a pattern wich sealed it and made it difficult lol its ok now tho

just got my bike brake cables today and glued them to the roof of my helmet and hinge sys it works great hope the servo will be strong enough to pull the cable tho any sugestions onwhat type of servo i need the cables pritty stiff :confused
