Eva foam da best?

Hey guys so..pepakura isn't working out for me,and the card stock paper won't line up properly. I was wondering I've seen some pretty cool projects people make out of eva foam. Do people have to cut out pepakura paper and sketch out the eva foam? I'm starting out as a beginner and trying out new things.

Look up a thread titled "JF's Custom Foam Files" there's a lot of useful info in that thread on how to use foam. The basic take away is that you can use pep files as a template but you'll need to disregard parts of them, namely the folds. Definitely check out that thread, like I said, there's lots of good info in it.
