Eureka Track Suit

All right, I'll start this off that this off that I don't watch Eureka, but my better half is a nut for it, and she is all about this track suit that Felicia Day wore in one of the episodes. I don't have screen caps from the show but Felicia posted this up on twitter the other day:

I think I've identified the suit as American Apparel, "California Fleece track jacket/pants".

Like I said I haven't watched, but can anyone confirm/deny that these are what they used on the show and the definitive color...she thought they were black but Felicia's pic makes me think its the Navy in the photos I posted, even w/ the colors bleached out from the flash, they don't look black to me at all.



And on a side note, anyone have any plans to or know anyone that is making Eureka patches?

I guess this is the one that was on the track suit (Astraeus) (can't quite see it under her hair in Felicia's pic but if there are screen caps can spot it in the show).

These are offered on the NBC/Universal store but I guess they are mini patches NOT the full size ones like they used on set.

I think those same track suits have been worn before in at least one other episode without the patches.

Found these screen caps they all look black. I told her to just buy it in black and navy. :lol

Thank you for getting this started I was able to locate additional screen caps tonight and have decided to go ahead and order the black suit. Now to just source some patches or just go patch free for now. Either way, yay for a comfy costume!

Just so you know...those patches I posted on the website are mini patches, they are not the full size ones like they wore on the show. One of the reviewers mentioned that. More of a novelty thing.

Those ones in the pics look very black, however; FD's looks very purple in the first pic... rest of the colors and skin tones look fine in other pics =/

My pet theory is they're using black for PT in the screen caps and we'll see blue pop up again during the season...:lol

Since the PT gear from 4x14 Up in the Air is what caught my attention as an easy and comfortable costume, I'm happy to order the black suits. If blue suits make reappearance later in the season (or I have time to rewatch the series) I can decide at that point if I want to place an order for the blue ones as well.

Hm. The PT ones do look black. The ones in previous seasons were definitely blue, though.

I'm pretty certain they're black because in some of the scenes (mainly outdoor ones I think) they had a brown cast to them which suggests a brown based black to me.

The suit that Felicia is wearing in the photo of her with Niall and Neil that she posted on Twitter is Navy. I was on set that day, and saw her in it. It also had the regular GD patch on it.

It's a different suit from the Astreus suit she's wearing in the screencaps.

Well k8ekol and I had our 15 mins of Twitter fame today, Felicia Day loved our suits and tweeted a pic of the three of us from Dragoncon.

I'm not sure if Katy is more excited about Felicia tweeting it or the Eureka writers retweeting Felicia's tweet. :lol

We got a Froggy photo w/ Felicia and Wil Wheaton too, I'll post it up once I get the jpegs back from them. It turned out awesome.

Colin Ferguson, Jordan Hinson, and Chris Gauthier loved them too, Colin grabbed a pic of us.

I told Colin they were a little warm in ATL in September and he said "they're a little warm in Vancouver in April" :lol

All in all it was a great day, and all the guys on Eureka really are amazing people to talk to and very entertaining in the panels. Its a shame their Eureka run is coming to an end.

The Blue/Purple tracksuits look like they are lab specific. The Black one looks like it was mission specific.

But now I don't know which one to make... or BOTH!
