I love Steve Ditko's characters, and among the best is Eternity - the sentient embodiment of the Marvel universe.
While shopping in the LA Fabric district I stumbled on some fabric that had a beautiful starscape pattern on it, in a heavyweight spandex, and a lighter stretch cotton. I made the bodysuit and cape out of the spandex, and a full face hood from the cotton which allows me to see and breathe through it. Best of all, the two fabrics look identical from a distance.
For the headpiece, I tried a variety of materials and finally settled on cardboard with the "grain" aligned top-to-bottom to provide vertical stiffness and horizontal flexibility. I'm thinking of going back in and using lightweight aluminum to provide extra stiffness.
People love this costume, because it is so odd and you very rarely see other cosplayers attempting it. Full body suits (including face) are pretty damn uncomfortable though lol
