And Stormtrooper's ESB E-11 cast from a screen used, which came complete with lenses already installed.

Sweet! I really like your DL-44 stunt. Was it a version you did yourself or a kit that was available at some point? I have metal parts laying about to do this version...Just need to pull the finger out and get cracking! I actually prefer that type of scope on that style of mount as opposed to the chopped/cobbled together ROTJ scopes. And the Hoth rifle looks bad ass! Nice work. The lenses really are the icing on the cake.:thumbsup

The ESB/ROTT DL44 stunt was cobbled together from a casting of a real Mauser and modified ANH, ESB and ROTJ DL44 kits. Plus some real V8 parts. The bull barrel was done with some copper pipe and a bit of car body filler and sculpting. I might even have been the first person to do this most 'fugly' of versions!:p

I only had a single reference picture to work from at the time (the one from POSW). I know the left side isn't 100% accurate since I didn't have any reference of that side, only what Lonepigeon told me since he had seen one in person.

Looks nice! The grid material is still a bit big but I haven't found any the right size either. The same stuff was used in Threepio's eyes in ESB.
I wonder if this material is what is on the front of the ESB DH-17 singlepoint?

Yes I know the pattern isn't accurate but its all I had to hand.

And yes, you're right about the front of the Singlepoint. It makes sense since its at the front and back of a bunch of other scopes (thanks Vince!).
