While wasting time this morning, I found this video on youtube from Prop Store of London. The blaster in this video is the same as this one on the Parts of Star Wars. It was also the version that was on the muppets show.

I'm beginning to build an ESB Han Blaster, but I would maybe consider this one in the not so distant future. Does anyone know if anyone on here has made this scope bracket? I realize it's a cut up ESB bracket.

This is one of those projects that I've had noodling around in the back of my mind for a long time. There was a kit floating around a few years ago that I almost bought but am kind of glad I didn't. From what I recall of it the scope and scope bracket were pretty good it was the Mauser that was the issue.

Now that there are definitive references available it would be great to see this take off!

I love this blaster! I went for an "idealised" version of the stunt blaster using a ANH kit from DoopyDoos. The cast is of a denix, which had very few bubbles so there was minimum clean up to do. I made the scope and scope bracket using scrap acrylic, aluminium, milliput and plastic tubing I had lying around. I know it's not super accurate by any means. I still have to fill in the flash hider holes and tweak a few other things but it suits me fine.
