ERTL AT-AT side guns

I'm working on two MPC ERTL AT-AT kits that I want to upgrade.

What should I use for the side guns and from what kit?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can't just use aprt from another kit, it would't look right. The guns on the real filming miniatures where form a Tamiya 1/35 "20mm Flakvierling38" kit. But these will be much to big. They look like this

You can make the from metal rods and tubes like syringes.

Find a machine gun from a smaller scale vehical that looks good and use it.
